Last night, I dropped some exciting news! You can read all about it here. A dream I have been manifesting for years is finally coming true!
About that red dress from Place Vendome Katie and I shot yesterday.
Paris was SO cold today. It felt colder than yesterday, if that was possible. It also had to do with the fact that I was in the cold all day from about 9 am until after 6 pm. 25,000 steps later, I was frozen, and my feet hurt.
I started the day on the Seine, and it felt like Paris got my email ;) The city was GLOWING with sunshine as I walked around for the first couple of hours, bathing the city in a magical winter light.
When it came to Christmas in Paris, I expected just about every café and shop decked out for the holidays. This is my first December in the city after all these years. I have been in Paris in January for a few years and have seen the city still decorated.
This year feels different. Even Café St. Regis on Île St. Louis took a pass on the holiday. Don’t get me wrong, there are pockets of streets and areas in the holiday mood, just not the whole city. Maybe it is Instagram vs reality that has got me.
I still was able to capture some special moments.
It is a late night and an early morning up ahead! I will share more tomorrow. On the big agenda is ice skating at Grand Palais and trying a new place for lunch.
Congratulations on the book deal! So happy and excited for you!
How exciting! Congratulations!!! I’m sure the book will be a stunning collection of all your wonderful photos and stories.
