I woke up Saturday morning in a panic. My big art show, Wells Street Art Fair, is just two weeks away. I am nervous and still have so much to do. This is a show I have been doing for ten years, and the nerves never go away. The plan is to work a little each day on inventory, set up, and planning until June 13-14. If you are in Chicago, stop by and say hello. We won’t have our booth numbers until right before the show. I am working on something fun to put outside my booth so you can find it in the crowd.

This year, I invested in a new tent, and it arrived this week. My husband and I spent Saturday putting the tent together. We needed to make sure we had all the pieces and knew how to put it up for early setup.

The weather finally turned a bit after last weekend, and we have been lucky to have some great sunshine-filled days. Henri and I have gotten in some long walks and friend dates this week. Fingers crossed, we will have good weather for art fair weekend.

Every week, I am trying to declutter spaces in my home. This week, I chipped away a little at my closet and cleared off that one chair that always seems to collect clutter. A win for now.

I joked with my husband that I needed a nap before June started. It’s going to be a wild but fun month full of adventure, work, and travel. If you are feeling the same way, I highly encourage a Sunday nap. I will do my best to squeeze one in, too!

This week, Henri and I both had haircuts scheduled on the same day. There was a lot of shuffling around in traffic, but it was worth it.

I just want to eat him up!

What Caught My Eye This Week

I missed the Sézane sneakers. Did anyone grab them? They are the same style as the sneakers I wear and love, just a different color way. I created an alert just in case.

How cute are these red sunglasses? Ever since someone told me sunglasses were sunscreen for your eyes, I can never have enough.

I am going crazy for polka dots these days. This dress is a favorite I paired with espadrilles. I am also so happy I bought this hat. The smallest size fit me best.

What I am Watching/Reading/Cooking This Week

In the winter/fall, my husband always requests my apple-and-Gouda salad with a mustard vinaigrette. We can eat it on repeat. Now that it is almost summer, this yogurt-based cilantro-lime dressing is a favorite. I throw it on salad, and the flavors instantly kick it up a level. We love it with BBQ chicken.

These Parmesan chicken meatballs are a staple in our house. We use ground chicken breasts, and they are healthy and delicious!

We started watching Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, the show we can’t quit. We have started and stopped this a few times. I need to know more.

I had to turn off episode 8 of Your Friends and Neighbors after the dog part. If you are watching and haven’t gotten to episode 8, be warned. I could not finish it. Also, thinking they should have stopped after season one.

My neighbor recommended Yesteryear; I started listening to the audiobook, but haven’t loved it yet.
