Weekend Reading #12
My travel heroes, Friends and Family sales, and more.
Weekend Reading is up! Some of my favorites include the apps you need to download for your next trip abroad, Rachel Brosnahan’s apartment in Architectural Digest, and how doodles became the dog du jour, plus, Ina Garten announced her newest book. (I immediately preordered)
My husband is skiing in Colorado, and I am spending time with friends and working with a view of the mountains.
Of course, I am counting down the minutes until I am back with Henri for an extended period. I know he is having the best time with his friends.
Hero Wardrobe Piece of the Week
More details on the suitcase and additional items here.
When I travel, there is always something I call out for, to be a hero. Something I wore on repeat or remembered to pack that just made the trip so much better. This white sweater was a last-minute addition to my wardrobe. I was able to throw it over my shoulders and wear it with sweats and jeans. On the last night, I put it on over this dress and made it look like a skirt-and-dress combo. The sweater runs a bit oversized, and a small is perfect on me.
We traveled to Colorado this week, and in the mornings, it was a mix of this jacket from Varley and these sunglasses.
What Caught My Eye This Week
Ruggable launched a collection of colorful florals with Liberty!
Loving this pintuck white skirt from J.Crew
Mother Science is now at Sephora! I love their Vitamin C dark spot serum.
Celisse sent me their polish set. I brought mine to my manicure appointment a few weeks ago. This is with one of their colors. The strategy is to layer colors and make different neutral combinations. I am wearing Camisole. I will say, it truly dried in 90 seconds.
I am trying out these two mascaras from Tartelette. One is a tubing mascara, and one is called the Maneater mascara. I will report back.
Friends and Family Sales Happening This Week
Roz, my favorite haircare products are 20% if you spend over $125. I love their shampoo and conditioner, and I also love this leave-in milk conditioner.
Splendid is 30% off, with so many great spring pieces to add to your wardrobe. I ordered this butter yellow t-shirt and pants. Use code FAMLOVE
Paige Friends and Family is 25% off. These green pants are a reader favorite. I also love these jeans.
Frame added more styles to their Friends and Family sale. I ordered these in navy!
Bluemercury is 20% off if you spend over $200. This includes the Sisley Paris Black Rose mask, Tata Harper's resurfacing mask, and the Higher Dose Infrared sauna.

I appreciate the NYT’s list of the “must have” travel apps, but I would be more interested in the apps you think would be most helpful for Europe or travel in general! :)
