Transitioning to Spring
Gaining a green thumb is on my spring bucket list. We cleared out our garden, clipped our hydrangeas, and pulled out our table and chairs. Spring is coming to Chicago soon, and we will be ready. I love watching the neighborhood wake up after winter hibernation. The shift in weather has allowed us to see some of our neighbors and dogs this week.
I launched my Spring Paris Itineraries. This includes a Left Bank and a Right Bank PDF, as well as a rainy-day itinerary.
Poppy red is a color I am gravitating towards right now. I painted my nails a similar color, and this bag is in my cart.
Strawberries are in season. This passover cake is a favorite to make each year. I will be making this early in the week for Wednesday.
I do need to move some of my sweaters out of my closet to make room for a few lighter pieces. This is always a struggle in Chicago as we slowly shed our jackets. I typically wear long-sleeve shirts and jeans as my uniform.
What I Ordered This Week
This red top and matching pants. The pants are a home run. I always have trouble with Sézane bottoms, and sizing up was the key.
I ordered this polka-dot Cos shirt and this J.Crew white blazer (currently 40% off).
Ajiri Aki has a new Joie journal out. I bought two, one for me and one for my mom. I ordered them from Bookshop.org, and they arrived surprisingly fast.
Frame sent me these navy pants. They are better than I imagined they would be! Code REBECCAP15 gets you 15% off. Similar fit and fabric to the Paige green ones. I can see myself wearing these two on repeat this spring/summer.
What Caught My Eye
This striped tote is so me! I purchased a brown winter bag by the same brand in January.
Varley released new spring pieces, and I ordered my favorite zip-up in this raspberry color. Their swim collection is super cute!
