Weekend Reading #8
What I worked on this week, new glasses and exciting updates coming!
Weekend Reading is up on the blog. How the silk scarf became cool again, 7 necklace trends of 2026, and how the book, Eat Pray Love, changed solo female travel, and more.
Grab your coffee and croissants.
What I Did This Week:
I had a meeting with my design team in Australia. We talked through ideas for the 2027 calendar, and you are going to LOVE what is coming. I can’t believe how good the small and big calendars will be this year with a few updates. Your feedback has been helpful, and there will be spaces to write in the big one.
For years, I have been asked if I would ever lead a group of women in Paris. I kicked off a meeting to make this a possibility. Currently, chatting and dreaming up the perfect intimate group trip to Paris. You can add your name to the waitlist when more details become available.
My friend Abby came over for some design help. We styled the front entry cabinet and ordered art for the coffee bar. She also approved of the new rug I bought, which ties in the navy couches from the front room.
Weekend Plans:
My husband and I scheduled a few date nights since we are both home for the weekend. We love sitting at the bar and enjoying the people watching. Middlebrow is a favorite. Their pizza and hospitality are equally good. They have a few staple pizzas on the menu, and others change seasonally.
On Sunday, we plan to get organized before we jump back into another busy work week. I need to declutter some space in my closet and move pieces for donation.
Also, I had my eyes checked recently, and my reading prescription has changed. I noticed a change in my eyes and knew it was time. My husband and I are headed to Warby Parker to pick out new frames. The current prescription I have is okay for distance, but I need an upgrade for reading. I was on the website and thought these looked super cute. This was a frame shape I saw in Paris that caught my eye. Also, my sunglasses are back in stock from last summer!
Update: We visited Warby Parker, and I ended up with the Percey. Turns out my prescription was for reading progressives, so here we go!
What I am Wearing/Using on Repeat:
M.Gemi Felize drivers, while the weather felt like spring, I couldn’t wait to put these back on. Size up .5 size.
My outfit formula for winter, jeans, this t-shirt, and a sweater, looks like this.
I have been using this oil cleanser from Tata Harper morning and night. It smells so good, and my skin loves it.
At night, I use this cream, and this oil has been a favorite for months.
Now that my skin is back after BBL and Moxie, I am slowly reintroducing skincare into my routine.
For the love of hand cream. This sits on my desk and is used often.
What Caught My Eye This Week:
The New Balances I love are on sale at Anthropologie in tan. I own them in blue. The sizing is a little funky, and I have them in a 9. So comfortable out of the box.
My friend Kat sent me the cutest croissant pajamas from Gap that are also on sale.
I am very much into the bright red color I am seeing everywhere.
Spanx launched a WellSuited line for work. I ordered this dress in a size 6. Super cute on, but the 4 fit better. Also, a few other pieces I ordered: this pencil skirt in a medium and these pants in a medium. Great for the office or an event where you need to look pulled together.
Eyeing the swim collection at Anemos for spring break. Boden also has great swim options and offers SPF in their fabric, a feature I love!
This Week’s Best Sellers
I ordered this Alex Mill tote, and it is already a reader favorite. The Paige green pants arrived and are so comfortable. They would be super cute with a sweater like this and sneakers until it gets a bit warmer. The hand cream that I picked up in Paris is currently on sale if you can’t make it to France.
January Best Sellers
We love our Sézane lamp that sits on our mantle. Also, this Ruggable rug may be the frontrunner for best seller all year long. I love the colors in it!

I love the Lakur #2! Ever since living in Paris, when cool weather comes, I switch to rouge noir, and am always looking for new twist on the shade. The drivers look so soft and comfy!
