I enjoy your content a lot but I have a quick question you. In many of the photos you are holding your phone so I'm curious-why? Last May (2025) I saw you in Paris as I was heading out to the Luxembourg Gardens, so tempted to say 'bonjour' but I valued your privacy.
Hello Jade, great question! I typically travel alone, and it is the easiest way to take a photo of myself. I am not a traditional influencer with a tripod and a whole setup. My time is devoted to being present. So these are quick photos that I take before I head out the door. I have an incredible photographer in Paris who shoots me.

I love that striped skirt in your photo shoot! And those Chelsea boots are a must buy. You and I were in Paris at the same time. I too am originally from Chicago and I thought the weather was nearly perfect for late January. In the last photo, are you sitting at Paul on that bench seat? If so, I sat on that same bench on Thursday as I was doing laundry across the street and having breakfast at Paul's. We may have passed each other in the streets! My everyday wear was a pair of dark jeans and a green cashmere sweater.
