Just pre-ordered! We visited Paris in February after waiting too long to go back and fell in love with all it all over again. Been receiving your newsletter and absolutely loving it and we cannot wait to get back. From what you share, we know your book will make us want to get there as fast as we can. If you come to NYC (any of its wonderful bookstores), we'll be there!

Big CONGRATULATIONS, Rebecca!

How very exciting and I'm sure so surreal for you. A dream realized through hard work & determination and the knowledge that all good things come to those who believe.

If you find yourself in CA, please come to Sonoma and/or Contra Costa County where I know you have many Francophile fans. Enjoy the journey that you have worked so very hard for!

Yes, I would LOVE to come to Sonoma. I am overdue for a California visit, and it would be a great way to visit on the book tour. Have you been to Chateau Sonoma? It is on my list!

I LOVE Chateau Sonoma and am a frequent visitor there! If you bring Henri, I'm certain he will be fast friends with their shop dog, Cala. I was hoping you had this sweet shop on your list and I would definitely make the drive out to meet you in person!

Please let me know if you do make it out to the Sonoma/Napa Valley. I was married in the Valley and I consider it is my second home so can give you tons of recommendations!

I would love all your Sonoma/Napa Valley recommendations. Thank you for the sweet offer. I will keep you posted when we have plans for California. xo

Sara and Juliana are the sweetest and their shop definitely feels like a French boutique in a tiny corner of Paris!

Please keep me posted. I'm thrilled for you as I've followed you for years on Instagram and am genuinely happy that your book has become a reality. xo

Apologies as I didn't get to this as quickly as I had hoped, but here are some options (below). If you are looking to do just one area in the south central PA vicinity, I would probably choose the Lancaster area (its about an hour, plus or munis, to Harrisburg, York, and Philly...just to name a few). I have options for York (where I live, Lancaster, and Harrisburg below. Happy to clarify or provide more info if it's helpful. :)

York, PA area options:

1. Bound Books (downtown York) - small boutique husband/wife owned shop that has done book signings with authors before...they are a newer book store (maybe 3ish years old) - https://www.boundbookshop.com (contact info is on the lower right corner of their website)

2. Books a Million - big box book store in and around the shopping areas of York; contact info for that specific store is (717) 757-6371

Lancaster, PA options:

1. Pocket Books Shop - small female-owned (3 best friends) book shop; I have never been but I have heard good things about it; https://pocketbooksshop.com (contact info is on the lower portion of their website)

2. Barnes & Noble - another big box option in a big shopping area; contact number for that location is (717) 290-8171

3. Books a Million - another one in Lancaster near the big mall; 717) 394-4809 is the number for that store

Sharing this google link (below - hope it works)...Lancaster has lots of little book shops, most I can't speak too, but maybe you'll see one that looks like a good fit for what you might be looking for: https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&sca_esv=edec2e4b4572a4c0&rls=en&tbm=lcl&sxsrf=AHTn8zqHgXXfZhZcHECyKmQmBJleOHQDLw:1744146751711&q=bookstores+lancaster&spell=1&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiupsn8rMmMAxUZKFkFHXJeAS4QBSgAegQIBxAB&biw=1440&bih=715&dpr=2#rlfi=hd:;si:;mv:[[40.231907199999995,-76.0851094],[39.9713736,-76.63602740000002]];tbs:lrf:!1m4!1u49!2m2!50m1!1e1!1m4!1u3!2m2!3m1!1e1!1m4!1u2!2m2!2m1!1e1!2m1!1e2!2m1!1e3!3sIAE,lf:1,lf_ui:10

Harrisburg, PA options:

1. Cupboard maker books - former English teacher and her husband opened this place...new and used books plus they support a local cat shelter and have cats there that are up for adoption...neat place...I was there when a friend of mine wrote a sci-fi novel...they hosted a book club with her and I went along...neat place in a well traveled area (sorry Henry, I know I said cats ;( ) - contact info is on their website - https://www.cupboardmaker.com

2. Books a million - apparently we like these around here, lol...contact number for this location is (717) 545-5492

3. Barnes & Nobles (in Camp Hill which is right across the rover from Harrisburg and in a nice shopping area) - contact number is 717) 737-0221

There are lots of little book shops in and around Harrisburg too so if you want more options, I can send more...this was long enough I am sure, lol. If I can help any further please let me know...I am sure this might be a bit overwhelming to try and coordinate, so if I can help being local, I am happy to do so. Take care!

Toutes mes félicitations to you, having followed and fulfilled your dream! Your book captures the spirit of Paris in a wonderful way.

Living in Europe, I wonder if you might eventually consider hosting a signing event in Paris? This would be lovely. Even when living outside of Paris, the city is easy to reach with e.g. the TGV connections. Besides, having the pleasure of meeting you and having a signed copy of your book might present a welcome opportunity for another trip to the City of Light.

Hi Rebecca, thank you for your reply. You know Paris much better than I do. I am living in Basel, Switzerland and enjoy trips to Paris, sometimes even for just the day. Regarding locations, I regret not being able to give you any recommendations. However, it is just a fantasy… that you would host your event at one of your favourite locations, be it a library, a hotel, a restaurant, etc., a place that you mention in your book?

Maybe that there would be an additional option to go on a walk with you (with or without a fee), diving right into the wonderful experiences in Paris that you are showing in your book? :)

Félicitations, Rebecca! I pre-ordered! I have a friend who treats herself to "brunch, bookstore, bakery" when she travels - your book tour would be perfect for this! Please come to Seattle - brunch at Cafe Campagne, book signing at Watson Kennedy, and bakery at Le Panier (all close to Pike Place Market) - and there are so many other choices! I also travel to Palm Springs, California a lot - brunch at Le Vallauris, signing at The Best Bookstore in Palm Springs, bakery at Peninsula Pastries or Cafe Mon Amour. I also hope you have a signing in the north Chicago suburbs or St. Louis (Left Bank Books). Can you tell I'm on the road a lot? I'm so excited for you! -Audrey

Audrey,

Thank you so much for preordering! I love your friend's "brunch, bookstore, and bakery." Your suggestions are fabulous. I am writing them all down and passing them to the publisher! I am based in Chicago, so northern Chicago and/or St. Louis are possible. Left Bank Books sounds right adorable. I appreciate all of these great recommendations. xo

Hi Rebecca! The closest I am to a larger city and good indie bookstore would be Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh, NC. I live in Wilmington, NC but it's much smaller and figure I'd cast my vote where it would matter most. Hope to see you on your tour!
